It features a stainless steel case with 18K gold octagonal bezel, classic white Roman dial with blue steel "epee" hands, sapphire topped crown, and mechanical Cartier movement.
Unlike the quartz version of the Santos, this more desirable mechanical example possesses an automatic movement and in a way showcases the timeless art of traditional watchmaking.
It has fully Cartier parts down to the original dial, hands, and crown and presents as gorgeous condition - overall about a 9.6 out of 10. On the wrist it presents nearly like new.
One of our watchmakers has disassembled it down to its last screw and cleaned and oiled it. We timed it in five chronometer testing positions, and it continues to run very accurately. For the finishing touch we have meticulously detailed it making it ready for immediate enjoyment.
