Tritium-based luminescent tubes called LLT illuminate the watch thru its hands and hour markers as well as the bezel tip. This is complemented by a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating, a uni-directional rotating CARBONOX™ bezel with a 60-minute scale and tachymeter, and a date window at the 6 o'clock position. Touches of white and orange contrast are evident via the dial and bezel markings, main and subdial hands, text details around the chapter ring, crown, compass, compass points, and the Bear Grylls logo between the 4 and 5 o'clock positions. The three subdials feature a 60-second, a 12-hour, and a 30-minute counter. A black genuine rubber strap with compass attachment secured by a stainless steel signed buckle completes the tough and sporty look. This watch has a screw-in caseback inscribed with Bear Gryll's logo, signature, and ‘Never Give Up’ motto wherein underneath lies the Ronda caliber 5030.D, a Swiss quartz chronograph movement and is water-resistant up to 300 meters/1000 feet.
